Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed concerning the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support stage designed for intervention encounters a high influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to empower the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance more info services,” the agency said.
